    I thought there would be
More local beers but there weren't.
    Variety tho*

*I'm an IPA bro but the selection of other beers was very impressive

Monk's Cafe in Philly earns a solid four-star rating for its distinct charm and, most notably, its stellar beer selection. Nestled in the heart of Philadelphia, Monk's Cafe boasts an impressive array of craft and Belgian beers that caters to the most discerning palates. The ambiance is cozy, featuring a classic pub-style setting with a touch of European flair. The extensive beer menu, curated with precision, offers a diverse range of styles and flavors that beer enthusiasts will appreciate. The knowledgeable staff is adept at providing recommendations, enhancing the overall experience for patrons exploring the world of craft brews. While the food menu complements the beer selection well, the prices can lean towards the higher side. Nevertheless, Monk's Cafe stands out as a go-to spot for beer aficionados seeking a rich and varied selection in a welcoming Philadelphia atmosphere.

Monk's is a favorite stop when we are around center city.
Service is always friendly and very prompt.
The beverage selection is amazing and has beers from around the world. Monk's is also one of the few places to find Pliny the Elder on tap. The food is delicious and well portioned. I recommend the Pomme Frites and the Cheddy Burger.  The burger is cooked perfectly and topped with beer cheese made with Heady Topper.
Great stop, especially for lunch when they are not too crowded.
